“Davey has been caring for our almost 4-year old Prudence since she was a pup, taking her for walks and bringing us valuable peace of mind. When she was younger and had less stamina, Davey offered two 30-minute walks spread out in the day, then graduated her to a full hour-long walk daily which she loves. With Davey, we know we can count on Pru getting fresh air & exercise, and us receiving clear and reliable communication, plus fun photo updates of her time outdoors with her "fur-iends". Davey is trustworthy, responsible and thoughtful, even offering the DC gold-medal support of bringing in packages from the porch at his visits. Pru adores Davey and we are endlessly grateful for him - we highly recommend Davey and Dog Days of DC!”

“Davey has taken care of Logan as a day & night boarder as well as a walker for four years. Logan has some first-meeting trust issues but he got over them quickly with Davey when they first met. Davey's calm demeanor really puts Logan at ease and it's a blessing have someone you can trust to spend time with your fur-baby. Logan loves him.”

“Davey has been taking care of our two cats for years. The prices are amazing for the level of care he provides. For example, there has been more than one occasion where, while I was out of town, the cats ran out of food. He immediately offered to go out and grab more food himself at no extra charge excluding the price of the food. He goes above and beyond in other ways too like picking up packages from the front desk and putting them in our apartment. Every day I am out of town, I get multiple pictures from him so I can see how my cats are doing. Most importantly, my cats love him and he genuinely cares about their well-being."”

“Davey from Dog Days of DC has been a true blessing for me and my senior (geriatric, really) dog Elvis. Elvis is a sweet and trusting dog who really needed a kind soul for a dog walker, and Davey was the perfect fit. Davey is incredibly kind and patient (more patient than I am sometimes) with Elvis, who walks very slowly and is wholly deaf and mostly blind. He took the time to get to know Elvis and work with his "old man" needs, and they became friends almost immediately! Davey has also been a true asset when Elvis had a corneal ulcer - helping with medications, navigating the dreaded "cone of shame", and managing an owner with a lot of anxiety and stress over her sick old dog. As the owner of a senior and special needs dog, finding someone who will give your beloved pet the kind of extraordinary care provided by Davey and Dog Days of DC cannot be overestimated. They have been incredible, and we are so very lucky. PS - Also, Davey takes the best Elvis pictures around!"”
